Energy Healing After Care

It is important to help your body and energy system integrate the healing work. After a Energy Healing session, you may feel relaxed, emotional, energized, or even slightly tired, all of which are normal.

Here’s how to support yourself:

  Drink Plenty of Water
Hydration helps your body process and release energetic and physical toxins. Aim for extra water in the 24 hours following your session.

 Rest if You Need To
Reiki activates your body’s natural healing response. You may feel deeply relaxed or sleepy. Allow yourself time to rest, nap, or go to bed earlier.

Take It Easy
Avoid intense workouts, heavy social commitments, or stressful situations right after your session if possible. Gentle movement like walking or stretching is ideal.

Eat Light, Nourishing Foods
Choose wholesome foods (vegetables, fruits, soups, lean proteins). Avoid excessive caffeine, alcohol, or processed foods for the rest of the day.

Notice Emotional Shifts
Reiki can bring up emotions for release. You might feel:
Calm and peaceful
Emotional or reflective
Clear and focused
Journaling can help process insights or feelings.

Support Integration
Helpful additions:
Epsom salt bath
Meditation or quiet time
Time in nature
Gentle breathing exercises

Temporary “Healing Response”
Some people experience mild, short-term symptoms such as:
Headache
Fatigue
Vivid dreams
Increased urination
